Harlem Valley Sand & Gravel has been in business mining and manufacturing sand and gravel for both commercial and personal use since 1973. In 2022, the business was acquired by Thomas Taylor, President of Taylor Oil and Propane, in an effort to expand company offerings by providing additional products and services. With this acquisition, we are pleased to continue the foundation established by previous owners and look forward to building new relationships.

We offer a solid knowledge base of our materials and take pride in providing quality service to our customers. Put the final touch on your landscaping project with one of our natural materials. We mine and manufacture sand and gravel not by blasting, but by separating and triple-washing the different sizes of gravel from our natural bank run. We specialize in sand, gravel, fill, topsoil, mulch, stone, and Nutri-Peat for both commercial and residential use.

Whether you are a builder, truck driver, homeowner, school, or town, we can fulfill your sand and gravel needs. You can also schedule your order to be delivered or picked up. We service upper Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Columbia counties in New York, as well as Fairfield and Litchfield counties in Connecticut.
